Contact data, company information, and prospecting signals for finding the right accounts and buyers.

Conversation intelligence

Call recordings, transcripts, and coaching tools for understanding and improving sales conversations.

Revenue intelligence

Activity and conversation data connected to opportunities, pipeline risk, and forecasts.

Conversation intelligence01

Gong

Conversation evidence and coaching

Gong combines customer conversation data with CRM records for coaching, deal reviews, and forecasting. Pricing depends on which applications you buy.

PRICING AT A GLANCECustom quotePer-user licenses + a platform fee
Features and limitations
Key features
Gong captures interactions for coaching and pipeline analysis. Integrations include two-way Salesforce sync and meeting tools.
What to check
Pricing combines user licenses with a platform fee. Forecast Essentials and the full Forecast offering have different scope; ask for a line-by-line proposal instead of assuming the conversation package includes everything.

ASK IN THE DEMOBring a slipped deal. Ask the platform to show the conversation behind the risk, the next action, and the manager’s coaching workflow.

Forecasting02

Clari Forecast / Salesloft

Forecast reviews connected to seller action

Clari Forecast uses deal history and rep activity to support forecast reviews. Clari and Salesloft now operate as Salesloft, while Clari Forecast keeps its product name.

PRICING AT A GLANCECustom quoteConfirm products, seats, and rollout scope
Features and limitations
Key features
The forecasting product combines historical deal data with current activity to highlight risk and connect it to seller actions. The wider platform includes engagement, deal management, and conversation intelligence.
What to check
Have the proposal identify the exact forecast, engagement, and conversation products, along with deployment dependencies. Test your territory hierarchy, renewals, and reporting cadence rather than relying on a generic forecast demo.

ASK IN THE DEMOChange an opportunity’s close date. Follow the effect on the rep’s forecast, the manager’s view, and the action assigned to the seller.

Forecasting03

Aviso

Forecasting with broader deal guidance

Aviso combines forecasting, pipeline inspection, relationship data, and conversation analysis. Teams can review the forecast and the deals behind it in the same platform.

PRICING AT A GLANCECustom quoteProposal tailored to your use cases
Features and limitations
Key features
The platform describes forecasting at different cadences, pipeline risk inspection, coaching, and guided deal actions. Check whether these features overlap with tools you already use.
What to check
Test forecasts against your own historical results. Use a fixed prediction date and exclude information that arrived afterward. Pricing requires a proposal.

ASK IN THE DEMOAsk for a forecast at a fixed point in a past quarter, its supporting evidence, and the deals that account for the gap against actual bookings.

Forecasting04

Terret

Previously BoostUp

Forecast changes and pipeline inspection

Terret helps teams inspect pipeline changes and explain forecast movements. Its product pages also list conversation intelligence.

PRICING AT A GLANCERequest a quoteNo public list price on the reviewed pages
Features and limitations
Key features
The current product page describes variance explanations, risk assessments, and executive summaries. Conversation intelligence is also listed in the product family.
What to check
Ask which features are available in your package and how historical data is imported. We did not find a public list price on the reviewed pages.

ASK IN THE DEMOCompare two weekly forecast snapshots. Ask for the deal-level causes of the change and confirm that the source records support the explanation.

Activity capture05

Backstory

Formerly People.ai

Activity coverage and account context

Backstory captures emails, calls, and meetings and matches them to CRM accounts and opportunities. Teams can use that data to review pipeline health and account activity.

PRICING AT A GLANCECustom quoteConnected people + answer consumption
Features and limitations
Key features
Its capture and matching layer brings customer activity into account and opportunity context. The platform supports questions about pipeline health, qualification, and account strategy.
What to check
Current pricing depends on people whose activity is connected and the answers consumed. Viewers are treated differently. Request an example bill for your anticipated usage and test matching on accounts with several simultaneous opportunities.

ASK IN THE DEMOUse an account with duplicate contacts and two open deals. Check which emails and meetings attach to each opportunity and how the team fixes a mismatch.

Activity capture06

Revenue Grid

Salesforce activity capture and deal guidance

Revenue Grid syncs email and calendar activity with Salesforce. Higher tiers add pipeline inspection, forecasting, and deal guidance.

PRICING AT A GLANCE$30 / user / monthCapture tier; Ultimate lists $149/user/month
Features and limitations
Key features
Activity Capture 360 lists email and calendar synchronization, historical sync, and native activity reporting. Ultimate adds forecasting, pipeline inspection, team analytics, and deal guidance.
What to check
The published tiers are $30 for Activity Capture 360, $49 for Knowledge Capture, and $149 for Ultimate per user per month. Confirm billing terms and seat commitments. Implementation and some ongoing services can add fees.

ASK IN THE DEMOCheck an email and a rescheduled meeting end to end. Then ask the vendor to demonstrate the forecast in the exact tier being quoted.

Conversation intelligence07

Avoma

A smaller team evaluating calls and deal health

Avoma combines meeting analysis with paid add-ons for coaching and revenue intelligence. It publishes per-seat pricing and offers a 14-day trial.

PRICING AT A GLANCE$29 add-on / seat / monthAnnual billing; paid base plan also required
Features and limitations
Key features
Revenue intelligence covers pipeline reviews, deal risk, methodology tracking, forecasting, and win-loss analysis. The help center documents CRM field mapping and forecast workflows.
What to check
Revenue Intelligence is a $29/seat/month add-on on annual billing, or $35 on monthly billing, on top of a paid base plan. Conversation Intelligence is a separate add-on. Confirm CRM support specifically for revenue features, not just saving meeting notes.

ASK IN THE DEMOUse the 14-day trial to review a live deal, inspect the risk evidence, and verify the CRM fields your managers need to update.

Sales execution08

Outreach

Sales engagement with pipeline and forecasting

Outreach combines sales engagement, conversation analysis, and deal management. Forecasting is included in the published Amplify Pro package.

PRICING AT A GLANCECustom quoteLicenses + usage for AI workflows
Features and limitations
Key features
The published packages combine engagement, conversation insights, and deal management in different configurations. Amplify Pro adds forecast rollups, trends, scenario planning, and forecast configuration.
What to check
Pricing combines licenses and usage. Ask about credit costs, connectors, and services, and confirm that your package includes forecasting.

ASK IN THE DEMOFollow a deal risk into a rep’s next task, then test a forecast scenario and inspect the usage it consumes.

Forecasting09

Salesforce Revenue Intelligence

Analytics within an existing Salesforce setup

Salesforce Revenue Intelligence adds opportunity scoring, revenue dashboards, and forecasting within Sales Cloud. Check your existing licenses for overlapping features.

PRICING AT A GLANCE$220 / user / monthUSD, billed annually; edition eligibility matters
Features and limitations
Key features
The published feature set includes opportunity scoring, predictive and collaborative forecasting, revenue dashboards, and CRM Analytics capabilities.
What to check
The US page lists $220/user/month billed annually, or $250 with Tableau. Confirm the required underlying edition and what you already own. The pricing FAQ says Revenue Intelligence trial licenses are unavailable; a Sales Cloud trial is a different offer.

ASK IN THE DEMOBring your account hierarchy and a dashboard request. Ask an admin to show the configuration effort and verify exactly which licenses are required.

For different seat rates, use a weighted average or calculate each group separately. Include required connectors, security, and support fees; confirm renewal terms in the proposal.

How to evaluate a platform

Use the same CRM data and sales scenarios in every demo.

01

CRM and activity coverage

Compare synced emails, meetings, contacts, and opportunities with the source records. Check missing activity, incorrect matches, custom fields, and sync delays.

02

Deal risk and coaching

Open the source behind each alert. Have a manager check whether it points to a useful next step. Track false alarms during the trial.

03

Forecasting

Test your territories, currencies, renewals, and expansions. Compare each forecast with actual results using the same forecast date.

04

Daily use

Run your usual pipeline meeting. Record preparation time and repeated data entry. Decide who will manage setup and support.

05

Data access and controls

Check recording controls, permissions, retention, deletion, exports, and data processing locations for the plan you are buying.

06

Pricing

Request an itemized quote covering seats, base plans, add-ons, usage limits, setup, support, and renewal terms.

Test it with your sales team

Choose two or three platforms. Test the same deals with the reps, managers, and operations staff who will use them.

Agree on what you want to measure before the trial, such as data coverage, review time, or forecast error.

FAQ

Common questions

What are the top revenue intelligence platforms for B2B sales?

Our shortlist includes Gong, Clari Forecast / Salesloft, Aviso, Terret, Backstory, Revenue Grid, Avoma, Outreach, and Salesforce Revenue Intelligence. Start with your primary workflow: coaching, forecasting, activity capture, or sales execution. The recommendations are based on the official sources linked in each review.

What is the difference between revenue intelligence and sales intelligence?

Revenue intelligence helps teams inspect active deals, understand pipeline risk, coach sellers, and forecast outcomes. Sales intelligence tools for B2B contact data focus on finding accounts and people, enriching records, and supporting outbound prospecting. Some platforms span both categories, but contact coverage and forecasting need different evaluation criteria.

Does revenue intelligence replace a CRM?

It usually works with your CRM. You continue managing accounts and opportunities in the CRM, while the revenue intelligence platform captures and analyzes sales activity. Some CRM plans already include capture, scoring, and forecasting.

How much do revenue intelligence platforms cost?

Many require a custom proposal. Compare total cost for the same scope: user licenses, platform fees, required base plans, consumption, and implementation. Revenue Grid lists $30/user/month for capture and $149 for Ultimate. Avoma lists a $29/seat/month annual Revenue Intelligence add-on plus a paid base plan. Salesforce lists $220/user/month billed annually. Those prices cover different products and are not equivalent packages.[15][16][19]

Which option should a small B2B sales team evaluate first?

Start by testing what your existing CRM can already do. If call review and deal visibility are still a problem, Avoma offers published modular pricing and a 14-day trial. Include its base plan and required add-ons in the budget. A small team with complex, high-value deals may still need a more extensive forecast evaluation.[16]

Are Clari and Salesloft still separate platforms?

They now operate as Salesloft. Clari Forecast keeps its product name. Ask which forecasting, engagement, and conversation products your quote includes.[5]

Which integrations should we check before choosing a platform?

Check your exact CRM edition and objects, mailbox and calendar, meeting recorder, dialer, and reporting tools. Test read and write permissions, historical imports, duplicate handling, and update delays. A listed CRM integration may support meeting notes without supporting the full forecasting workflow you need.

Is a revenue dashboard the same as revenue intelligence?

A dashboard displays selected measures such as payments, sales, or recurring revenue. Revenue intelligence adds deal-level evidence, coaching, and forecast workflows. Use a dashboard for a daily check-in and an appropriate sales platform for pipeline analysis; keep booked revenue, collected cash, and recurring revenue definitions separate.
